Athena Rose Walker

Athena Rose Walker of Maryland Heights, MO, departed too soon after a courageous battle with Leukemia on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the age of 5. Cherished daughter of Donald Walker and Erika Bilzing; loving sister of Ayla Kerns; beloved granddaughter of Chris (Tammy) Christeson, Nancy Bilzing; sweet great-granddaughter of Frank and Beverly Christeson, Judy Clark, and Brenda and Ray Moore; treasured niece of Kira Harvey, Christopher (Melissa) Christeson, Crystal (Mike) Wilson, Amy Moore, and Cassey McKeown; great-niece of Glen and Dianne Christeson, Cathy and Kevin Farris, Susan Kerns, and Linda (Chun-Ho) So; and dear cousin of Madilyn, Kylee, Caden, Bryan, Jayde, Cole, Alyssa, Jordan, and Valisity.

Athena gains her wings and joins her uncle Kody Harvey who hangs the moon and stars. Now she can bring out the sun.

Athena loved to get up and show off her talents in dance and song. She enjoyed visiting the circus and dreamed of being a trapeze artist and ballerina princess. She also enjoyed reading and drawing masterpieces. She will be remembered for her sassy and sweet personality, her beautiful smile and laughter. Athena was deeply loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew her.

She will always be our sunshine, especially when the skies are grey. We will always cherish our little warrior goddess.
