Aubrey Eugene "Gene" Smith

Aubrey Eugene "Gene" Smith, of Florissant, MO, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Shirley Smith; beloved son of the late Louis Truiett and Sallie Smith; devoted father of Jennifer (Richard) McPhail and Jim (Sabra) Smith; stepfather of Mark (Elaine) Shelton and Paul (Tobi) Shelton; cherished grandfather of 4 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Step-Grandchildren; dear brother of Gerald Smith.

Gene was married to the love of his life for 35 years. Gene and Shirley got married on September 11, 1987, in Augusta MO. Gene loved to go trout fishing. He loved cars and he built T-Buckets and enjoyed making wooden toys. Gene was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
