Audrey Elizabeth Cassoutt

Audrey Elizabeth Cassoutt (nee Gilchrist), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Eddie E. Cassoutt; beloved daughter of the late David E. and Cora V. Gilchrist; devoted mother of stepson, Edward "Skip" Cassoutt, stepson, Ted (Jessica) Cassoutt, son, the late David (Lisa, survives) Hockman, stepdaughter, Annette (Michael) Canning, son, the late Daniel Hockman, daughter, Diane (Scott) Rosa, stepdaughter, Carla Funk, and son, Dale (Joy) Hockman; cherished grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of 27; dear sister of  the late Larry Gilchrist, and the late Bill Gilchrist; also preceded in death by her first husband, Loren "Richard" Hockman, Jr.

Audrey was a member of the YMCA. She loved the outdoors, walking the dog and gardening with Ed. She had quite the green thumb. She liked to sew and was an excellent seamstress, she also enjoyed crafting, crocheting and quilting. She liked people and was quite a social person. She enjoyed playing games, dancing, interior decorating, writing-journaling and swimming. Audrey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Audrey's name to the American Cancer Society.
