Kissner III, August (Bud) J. Passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Chitwood) Kissner. Born in St. Louis MO on June 10, 1937, he was the son of the late August Kissner Jr and Rita Rose Norton Kissner. Father of Renee (Kyle) Reid, loving Grandfather of J Tanner (Nicole) and Brenna Reid, Brother of Rita (Jerry) Brooks of Florida, Sandra (Robert deceased) Huebner of O'Fallon MO, and the late Robert J (Eleanor) Kissner, our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Bud was a graduate of CBC Class of 1955, Florissant Valley Community College Class of 1969, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Class of 1972 with a BSEE. Bud was a member of the First Baptist Church of O' Fallon Mo. Bud was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bud retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1993, after 33 years of service. Bud and Dot were avid Trap shooters and after they retired Bud and Dot traveled through the Southwest, West, Midwest and Southeast. They met a lot of shooters and made a lot of friends.
Bud was a Life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Assn, National Rifle Assn, Missouri Trapshooting Assn, National Bench Rest Shooters Assn, Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis Mo, Edwardsville (IL) Gun Club, and the Illini Indians.
He is survived by his daughter and two grandchildren.
