Ava L. DuBois of Shiloh, IL, passed away at the age of 53 on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bondie and Virginia Heidmann; and her parents-in-law, Thomas F. and Shelby DuBois.
Ava is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas E. DuBois; her siblings, James (Roselyn) Heidmann, Cynthia (Dan) Baker, and Brenda (John) Kukay; her sister-in-law, Deanne (Jim) Vincent; her nieces and nephew, Nathan (Jen) Heidmann, Sarah Heidmann, Julie McDaniel, Heidi (Dan) Binggeli, Greta Kukay, Stephanie (Ryan) Vincent, and Mindy Barnes; her aunt, Joan DuBois; and her family friend, Jolene Logan.
Ava was a Pharmacist (PharmD) who worked in many aspects of the industry throughout her career. She was the proud member of many organizations in the industry and a longtime member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). Christmas was Ava's favorite season, she thrived on celebrating with family, friends, and Christmas puzzles. Ava lived, traveled, and worked around the country making close friends whom she cherished forever. Ava was a lover and benefactor to animals everywhere. She enjoyed golfing and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
