Mrs. DuFrenne-Ash is survived by four children: Robert DuFrenne (Robyn) of St. Peters, MO; Renee DuFrenne (Charles) of Myrtle Beach, SC; Craig DuFrenne (Sherry) of O'Fallon, MO; and Denise Howell (Jeffrey) of White Lake, MI; two sisters: Kathleen Obrecht (Glennon) of Monroe City, MO and Donna Hamley (Robbie) of Lake St. Louis, MO; two brothers: Christopher Ash (April) of St. Peters, MO and Daniel Ash (Vicki) of Manchester, MO; 11 grandchildren: Michelle, Bradley, Jeffrey, Corey, Alena, Garrett, Clayton, Stacey, Erin, Kelly, and Jordan; and 2 great-grandchildren Phaedra and John Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Clarice Ash; one son Dennis DuFrenne; and one sister Elizabeth Johnson.
