Barbara A. Ellis

Barbara Ann Ellis (nee Akins), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the age of 84. Longtime friend and companion of Raymond Kettmann; beloved daughter of the late Claud and Ethyl Akins; devoted mother of Brenda Ellis (Randy) Cali and the late Billy R. Ellis; cherished grandmother of Brandy A. (Todd) Hannebaum, Joshua Cali, and Jacob Cali; treasured great-grandmother of seven and great-great grandmother of three; and is also survived by one half- sister, Jeannie. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Ellis, son, Billy R. Ellis, two brothers, one sister and one half-sister.

Barb worked as a graphic designer for Homes for Living and Trading Times. She loved music, especially country music. Barb enjoyed going line dancing, traveling, and going out with friends. She loved animals, especially her two beloved dogs, Mia and Cricket. Barb was a wonderful mother and nana. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed by all who knew her.
