Barbara Colleen Riley, 58, better known as "Colleen" of O'Fallon, Missouri passed through the gates of heaven on March 8, 2022. Born on March 19, 1963, in Festus Missouri, raised in St. Louis and Desoto Missouri, Colleen was a generous person, giving her time and resources to anyone in need. Her kindness can be attested by the many family and friends she leaves behind. Colleen devoted her life to children in the foster care system. Opening her home to hundreds of youth, she finally traded in her foster care life for the title of MOM, ultimately falling in love with so many but choosing the children she now so unwillingly parts with, Dominick, Joshua, Tamika, and Noah as her own. She absolutely loved being surrounded by her children and ensuring their happiness. She traveled near and far with her children to give them experiences like no other. Her love and expertise as a Craniosacral Therapist has blessed so many. People would travel halfway across the country to be helped by her loving and therapeutic hands and energy. She often had her son Dominick assist with sessions for his positive energy. She was such an encouraging and uplifting person that no matter what she was going through she would lift others up and taught her children to do the same. Her giving heart extended to so many by her charitable giving. They planted and harvested fruits and vegetables to give to others. They also would provide and feed families throughout the year and especially during holidays to ensure no one would go without. Colleen is preceded in death by her parents Carolyn Louise Riley and Robert Norman Riley. She leaves behind many family and friends that will miss her immensely but nothing like the void that will be missing from her children's heart and life. A private memorial will be held by her immediate family. Colleen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
