Barbara J. Nacke (nee Baumann), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Richard Nacke; cherished daughter of the late Rudy and Helena Baumann; devoted mother of Amy (the late Eric) Braune, Dawn Bullock, Lisa Hibbs, Jessica (Jake) Plemons, Kevin Nacke and Ryan Nacke; loving grandmother of Devon, Vanessa, Hannah, Dayton, Avery, Dayleigh, McKenna, Rylan, Kaden, Dane and Farrah; treasured great-grandmother of Jameson; dear sister of Pam (Gary) Snyder and the late Wanda (the late Bob) Fischer.
Barbara was outgoing and looked forward to social events and holidays. She was very thoughtful and enjoyed finding the best, most unique presents for her family. Barbara was an avid reader and always had a good book in hand. She was also a big St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and enjoyed going to watch musicals at the Fox Theater.
Most of all, Barbara loved making Sunday dinner and spending time with her family. She always cheered on her grandchildren’s games, whether they were organized sports or backyard volleyball. In the most recent years, Barbara looked forward to going to the hair salon followed by lunch at one of her favorite restaurants.
Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
