Barbara Peters, of Troy, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the age of 85. Devoted mother of Shirley (Kenneth) Hagedorn, Catherine (Timothy) Mueller, Donald (Denise) Peters, Jr. and Barbara Huskey; loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Peters, Sr., her parents, Lester and Adelhide Cline, stepmother and friend, Inez Cline and 3 brothers.
Barbara had many hobbies throughout her life. She loved horseback riding and being in nature. She loved to fish; she would often take her bike with her basket loaded with lure boxes and fishing poles, ready to fish the day away. She also enjoyed swimming and shopping. When she wasn’t doing outdoor activities, she loved to relax and watch western movies or Animal Planet. She was a sweet woman with a very big heart. Above all, she loved her family. The best moments in life were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to St. Jude's Cancer Research.
