Barbara Willis Ritter

Barbara Willis Ritter (nee Foust), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at the age of 90. Cherished daughter of the late Edith Sparks and the late Roscoe Foust; devoted mother of Robert (Rebecca) Ritter, Jan W. Ritter, and Nancy dePoortere; sister to Cornelia Kreigh, loving grandmother of Nicole Longo, Alex dePoortere, Sarah Bishop, Luke Ritter, Robert R. Ritter, Jennifer Kelly, and Michael Kelly; treasured great grandmother of 12.
Barbara, a passionate children’s advocate, immersed herself in various musical endeavors, directing kid’s church choirs and participating in adult church choirs. Her love for nurturing young minds extended beyond music, as she dedicated herself to volunteering for numerous children's activities. Alongside her musical talents, Barbara found joy in gardening, playing the piano, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Renowned for her exceptional sewing skills, she delighted in crafting handmade stuffed animals, a testament to her creativity and craftsmanship. Barbara's love for nature and animals was evident in her leisurely pursuits. Her warm spirit touched many hearts, and her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Trinity Episcopal Church.
