Barbara Schulze

Barbara “Sis” Schulze (nee Samples), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Schulze; cherished daughter of the late Wesley and Ozell Samples. Devoted mother of Nelda (Eddie) Betzer and Dennis (Jill) Schulze; loving grandmother of Brittany Schulze, Courtney (Jacob) Hawes, and Ethan Schulze; dear sister of Shirley Smith, the late James Samples, the late Travis Samples, the late Sonny Samples, the late Helen Burress, and the late Iverine Samples; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Barbara was born in the south and loved to visit her home town in Tennessee. She was a wonderful cook who specialized in southern meals. Barbara worked for International Paper for 25 years. She took pride in the way she looked, and was always going to her weekly hair appointments. Barbara loved to spend time with her grandchildren especially around Christmas time. Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
