Barbara Ann Sickmeyer (nee Stieferman), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Sickmeyer; cherished daughter of the late Robert Stieferman and the late Catherine (John) Conley; dear sister of Kathy Amico, Bob Stieferman, and the late John Conley; loving aunt of Dawn (Mike) Munaco and Chris (Ken) Allison; and treasured great-aunt, cousin and friend.
Barbara and Bob shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. After retiring, Barbara moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where she attended St. Maria Goretti and continued her lifelong devotion to her faith as a Eucharistic minister and active member of church committees. A dedicated parochial schoolteacher, she spent her career at Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Simon. Barbara had a passion for traveling, shopping, crafts, and watercolor painting, but above all, she cherished her family and always put them first. Known for her kindness, patience, and generosity, she loved animals, had a strong Catholic faith, and delighted in making others smile with a good joke. Barbara’s selflessness and commitment to serving her community left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Alzheimer's Association.
