Barbara June Wheeler

Barbara June Wheeler (nee Fears), of Eureka, MO, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Jerry B. Wheeler, cherished daughter of the late Omer, Sr., and Elsie Fears; devoted mother of Carole (the late Charles) Dankenbring, Jerry Wheeler, and the late Kimberly Ann Wheeler; loving grandmother of Crystal (Brian) Scheman; treasured great-grandmother of Olivia Scheman; dear sister of Dixie (the late Bill) Altom, Elaine (the late Larry) Taylor and Omer "Ted" (Tammy) Fears.

Barbara, a jack of all trades, especially enjoyed doing hair and even owned her own beauty shop in the 80s. She and Jerry shared a love of music, traveling together while he played in his Karaoke Business with her as his manager. Barbara loved visiting places like Las Vegas and Hawaii. In her free time, she expressed her creativity through crocheting, gardening, knick-knacks, and beautiful Afghan blankets. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends. Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
