Barbara Whitling

Barbara Whitling of The Villages, FL, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Whitling; and her parents, Charles and Marguerite Cook.

Barbara is survived by her sisters, Gloria (the late Kenneth) Wasser and Charlene (the late Robert) Malone; her sister-in-law, Lynn (Tim) Wiesse; her many nieces and nephews; and her three special friends, Linda McAlister, Sharon Day, and Jan Montanye.

Barbara was an avid golfer who enjoyed getting out to spend a day out on the course playing the game she loved. She was very fond of her community of The Villages, Florida where she lived and had many great times and friendships over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
