Barry D. Delfel

Barry D. Delfel of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the age of 78.

Barry is survived by Carolyn, his wife and best friend of 55 years; daughters Christie and Brittany; beloved grandchildren Kaelyn and John; and extended relatives, treasured neighbors and friends who provided support, love, and laughter during his battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Barry was a decorated Vietnam War veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star for his service as a combat infantryman in the Army. Barry had a sincere love for God, his family, and his country. He enjoyed baseball, classic cars, driving his Mustang with the top down, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He valued knowledge, honesty, integrity, and hard work, and he was a wealth of information on nearly any subject. He will be remembered for his generosity, wisdom, and quick-witted humor.
