Bascombe Evans

Memorials may be made to Missouri Wing of Commemorative Air force, Smartt Field St. Charles. Bascombe "Van" Evans, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the age of 83. Dear husband of Betty Evans; dear son of the late Roy B. and Mrs. Evans; devoted father of Kathy (Bob) Ryan and Vanessa (Jeffrey) Kuhnert; cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of Margaret Holloway and Ann Milburn. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Miller Evans and second wife, Marie Alsup Evans. Van was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a charter member of the Missouri Wing of Commemorative Air Force.
