Benjamin P. Brandt

Benjamin “Ben” Paul Brandt, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the age of 11. Cherished son of Joshua Brandt and Danielle “Danni” Grant; loving grandson of Chris Brandt, Linda Brandt, Howard Grant, Sr. and Lisa Marie Michaelis; treasured great-grandson of Robert Schejbal, Phyllis Schejbal, the late William Brandt,  Shirley Brandt, Darla Kavanaugh, the late Eugene Kavanaugh, the late Alice Hall-Kramer, the late Juanita Hall and the late George Grant; dear brother of Joey, Chance, and Derek; nephew of Nick (Kieran) Brandt, Ashley (Kurtis) Wells, Howard Grant, Jr., and Thomas (Maci) Aubuchon; Benjamin was a loving cousin and friend to many.  

Music was a big part of Ben’s life, and it brought many smiles to his face. He loved to listen to the voices of his loved ones and would light up when he heard them. Ben enjoyed being outside, the sunshine, the peaceful motion of his swing, the sound of the birds and wildlife. He was especially fond of Ellie Lovey and his Ben-bear, three of his special cuddle friends.  

Ben always had a smile for his nurses and was quite the ladies’ man. Paula, Carol & Dana will forever hold a special place as they were the nurses who helped care for him throughout the years.  

Ben was a fighter. He was strong. He beat the odds and proved everyone wrong. He has a beautiful and pure heart. Everyone that met Ben fell in love with him. He had a way about him that would make your heart melt. Ben was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
