Bennie J. Myers, Sr.

Myers, Sr., Bennie J., of Saint Charles, MO, died on Thursday August 6, 2015, at the age of 84. Loving husband of Beverly Myers; beloved son of the late Coatney and Opal Myers; devoted father of Brant (Lisa) Lee Myers, Brett (Carla) Allen Myers, Daughter, Benita Jo "Betsy"(Paul) Faux, and the late Bennie J. (Laura surviving) Myers; cherished grandfather of Edward (Michelle) Myers, Corey (Linda) Myers, Brandon (Carolyn) Myers, Maggie Myers, Sabrina (Isaac) Moreno, Drew Ebert, Clay Ebert, Brittany Myers, Kyle Myers, Ryan Myers, and the late Adrienne Lee Myers and Jacob Ryan Myers; treasured great-grandfather of Dillon, Nicholas, Christian, Kendall, Alaina, and Elijah.


Bennie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Bennie started working as a technical specialist at McDonnell Douglas-Boeing, after he completed his time with the Marines. He worked on space capsule heat shields and the seats for astronauts. Bennie was married to his wife Beverly for 63 ½ years. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
