Bernadine Marie Boerding (nee Koch), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Theodore Boerding; beloved daughter of the late Bernard A. and Dorothy Koch; devoted mother of Ted (Carol) Boerding, the late Susie (Gordon) Steinhoff, Pat (Dave) Beckman, Geri (Donnie) Dunkmann, Joy (Dwain) Dunkmann, Karen (Doug) Frankenreiter, Mike (Diane) Boerding, Gail (Tom) Harwin; cherished grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 39; loving aunt and friend to many. Bernadine is also preceded in death by her sisters, Nettie (Glennon) Dwiggins, Catherine (Charles) Podhorsky; and brother, Bernard (Barbara, survives) Koch Jr.
Bernadine was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where she was in church choir. Bernadine loved farm living and she enjoyed spending her time sewing, quilting, and gardening. She taught her children by examples of respect, morals, kindness and tenderness. She was a great cook and beer roast was her specialty. She always made holidays special for her family. She will be missed by all.
Memorials may be made in Bernadine's name to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Mass memorials.
