Bernice C. Gilbertson

Bernice C. Gilbertson (nee Gradl), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017, at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Dr. Harold Kenneth Gilbertson, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Elsie Gradl; devoted mother of Deborah (Dale) Shannon and Dr. Harold Kenneth Gilbertson, II; cherished grandmother of Daniel (Melissa) Shannon, Rebecca (Jonathan) Webb, Brett Gilbertson, and Amy (Drew) Pochapsky; treasured great-grandmother of Kayla Shannon, Jessica Shannon, Caden Webb, Baylor Webb, and Piper Webb; sister-in-law of Beverly Bahnab; beloved aunt, cousin, and friend. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Kenneth Martin "Marty" Gilbertson; and her sister, Dolores Kirchhofer.

Bernice was an avid master bridge player for over 60 years. She enjoyed going on cruises and traveling all around the world. Bernice was a member of the Silver Steppers from UMSL for many years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
