Bernice M. Merrill

Bernice M. Merrill (nee Foree), of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Stanley Merrill; beloved daughter of the late William and Gertrude Foree; devoted mother of the late Stanley Merrill, Jr, Michele (John) Wolz, and Gary (Merle) Merrill; cherished grandmother of Jason (Stephanie) Merrill, Jeff (Kristin) Wolz, and Curt Merrill; treasured great-grandmother of Madeline Merrill, Natalie Merrill, Gavin Merrill, and Benjamin Wolz; dear sister of William (Norma) Foree and the late Ella Mae (Bernard) Willen.

Bernice was married to her husband, Stanley, for over 64 years before he passed. Together, they loved going to auctions, flea markets, antiquing, and vacationing in the Wisconsin Dells. She was a Horse Show Mom, showing up every weekend to support her children and their love of horses. Bernice was so creative and enjoyed crafting, especially creating beautiful pieces of jewelry. She was always painting, sewing clothes, and quilting. Bernice would crochet or knit sweaters for her dog Lola, her loving companion. She also spent countless hours in her lovely flower gardens. Bernice was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Bernice's name to Humane Society.
