Bettie Ann Street (nee: Lyon), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 77.
Bettie was born to the late Leonard Doffis and Zelpha Burke Lyon on November 13, 1940, in Stoutland, Missouri, as one of twelve children.
Bettie graduated from Stoutland High School and later went on to have a successful career in accounting at Boeing, formerly McDonnell Douglas, where she eventually retired. Bettie loved being a grandmother and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and doing puzzles. She was an avid baseball and hockey fan, and could often be found cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.
She is survived by her children, Janalee (Mike) Lowrey, John Wesley Street Jr., Deborah Ann (Kevin Robert) Sisson, and Jeffrey Wayne Street; grandchildren, Keith Robert Sisson, Robyn Ann Sisson, Ronald Levi Street, and Kaitlin Nicole Street; great-grandchildren, Maggie Rose Sisson, Naomi Keylie Barry, and Kendall Robert Sisson; and her siblings, Mattie Edwards, Floye Knapp, Mary Veith, Esther Sherrer, Ruby Noe, Susan Sandidge, Sally Thorburg, Dee Lyon, and Gene Lyon.
In addition to her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by two brothers, Campbell Lyon and Burke Lyon.
Memorial contributions in Bettie's honor are suggested to Mayfield Cemetery in Stoutland, Missouri.
