GRIESENAUER, Bettina (Bettye) Frances, St. Peters, MO, (nee: Mort) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church September 14, 2006. Formerly of Flagstaff, AZ and O’Fallon, MO. Born April 2, 1921. Beloved wife of Glennon Griesenauer for 63 years. Dear mother of Mary Ann (Glen) Hunter of O’Fallon, MO, grandmother of Tanya Hunter, Casey (Daniel) Ruiz and Kenneth (Wendy) Hunter. Great-grandmother of Ariana, Alyssa and Jacob Ruiz; sister of Jeanette Henke, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many. Bettye graduated from St. Joseph Hospital Nursing School, Kansas City, MO in 1942. She spent 28 years as a nurse and was a surgical nurse at hospitals in St. Charles and Troy. She was a charter member and past president of VFW Post 5077 in O’Fallon, MO, past president of the Ladies Sodality of Assumption and St. Barnabas, and a member of the American Nurses Association.
