Betty DeGroat

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes or American Heart Association. Betty DeGroat, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, September 7, 2009, at the age of 90. Dearest wife of the late Charles B. DeGroat; dear daughter of the late Charles Alexander Huston and the late Lena Belle Huston; loving mother of David C. (Sally) DeGroat and Patricia H. (Clifford) Belt; cherished grandmother of Angie (Ryan) Horrell, Heather Elizabeth Belt, Benjamin David (Linda) DeGroat, and Christopher Charles (Renee) DeGroat; treasured great-grandmother of Devon Michael Roth, Morgan Elizabeth Horrell, Austin Joseph Belt, Gracie Marie Healy, Sierra Renee DeGroat, Matthew David DeGroat, Ethan Charles DeGroat, and Alex Christopher DeGroat; dear sister of Willena Haight and sister-in-law of Ann Huston; beloved aunt and great-aunt. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Huston. Betty was an Administrative Supervisor for the Federal Government for 37 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
