Betty June Hermeyer

Betty June Hermeyer (nee Venable), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late John "Jack" Hermeyer; Beloved daughter of the late Leslie and Mabel Venable; devoted mother of Debbie (Michael) Dunn, Richard (Mary Kay) Hermeyer, Greg (Susan) Hermeyer, Kevin (Lynnda) Hermeyer, Renee (Ray) Mersch, and Leslye (Jason) Vomund; cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law, including her dear friend, Juanita Barley. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Danielle Graham; and siblings, Perry Venable and Delores Venable. 

Betty was a member of AMVets Post 106 Auxiliary. She was a woman of great faith and sang in the choir at her church, Cave Springs Baptist Church. Betty was an excellent cook who will be remembered for her wonderful pancakes. She always made sure that you never had an empty stomach. Betty enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. You could often find her watching television with her favorite sports teams the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, as well as the Hallmark channel. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

During the visitation, the family encourages you to dress in casual attire of your favorite sports team. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Betty's name to St. Jude Children's Research or American Heart Association.
