Betty Jane Foust

Foust, Betty Jane (nee: Nelson) of St. Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late Glenn E. Foust, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Orville (Irene) Nelson and the late Birdie “Pansy” (Elmer) Nehls; devoted mother of Glen Foust, Daniel (Carla) Foust, Sr., Rickey Foust, Sr., David (Jacque) Foust, Sr., Brenda (Dennis) Tankersley, Jeffery (Lynn) Foust, Cathy J. (Jerry) Timme, Steve Foust, Karen Harrellson, Melissa (Don) Howard, Connie Collins, Laurie (Robert Vollmer) Hilliker, Doug (Brenda) Foust, and Amy (Matt) Richardson; also a grandmother/mother to Chrissy (Dan) Lefebure, Joseph (Tanya) Crandall, and Elizabeth (Nick) Salamone; cherished grandmother of 59; treasured great-grandmother of 97; loving great-great grandmother of 6; dear sister of Roger Dale (Phyllis) Nelson and Rocky Nelson. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra (Joe) Crandall and her siblings, Doris Nelson, Margaret Forney, Catherine Creech, Genevieve McLeod, Orville "Mike" Nelson, Jr., Joe Nelson, Kevin Nelson, and Dennis Nelson.

Betty was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Betty was a devoted housewife, mother, friend, advisor, babysitter, nurse, and doctor. She absolutely adored and cherished her children and grandchildren. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and love her.
