Betty Jean Zerr, (nee: Duncan) was born December 10, 1931. She passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Warrenton, MO where she lived for the last three years.
Betty was born in Nankipoo, TN. She is the daughter of the late Issac and Olive Duncan. Betty was raised in Saint Louis. She was married to Norman L. Zerr October 26, 1957, who passed away in May of 2014. Betty is the devoted mother of Tami (Hal) Smith, Debbie (Bill) Schiltz, Judi (Jeff) Piant, and Dean (Penny) Zerr; loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren; treasured great-grandmother of 25 great grandchildren. Betty is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Glynn and Aaron Duncan.
Betty enjoyed camping, playing bingo and cards. She was a Girl Scout leader and also a volunteer at Meals on Wheels. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church, O’Fallon. She was a dedicated mother who truly treasured and loved her family. Betty was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
