Betty Meyer

Betty "Joyce" Meyer, (nee: Mildred), of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the age of 81. Dearest wife of the late Ronald L. Middleton and the late Raymond F. Meyer; dear daughter of the late Daniel V. and Mary Elizabeth Mildred; cherished mother of Laura Middleton, Lance Middleton, Barbara (Robert) Osborn and Ronald (Lisa) Middleton, Jr.; beloved grandmother of Brock (Karla), April (Charlie), Brent, Eric, Andrew, Ally, Corey, Ryan, Jesse (Brittany), Nickolas, Matthew and Kenny; great-grandmother of 2 due in the Fall. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister, Randall I. Mildred and Marilyn J. Guse. Joyce graduated from Southwest High School in 1946 before attending Central Methodist College in Fayette, MO. She obtained a BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of MO. She taught elementary grades in the Webster Groves School District and at several schools in Ferguson/Florissant, retiring from her career in 1988. She and her late husband, Raymond, were members of St. John United Church of Christ.
