Betty Pauline Kramer (nee Riley), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the age of 95. She was born in Pottersville, MO on October 14, 1926. The daughter of the late Virgil and Florence (Fox) Riley.
On October 18, 1947, Betty married the late James “Jim” Kramer and celebrated 59 years of marriage. Betty was a homemaker and was devoted to raising her four children. When her children approached middle and high school age, she decided to work outside of her home. She worked at Famous & Barr for 15 years before retiring. She was also an active member of the Lions Club for several years.
Betty was a wonderful, dedicated mother and grandmother. She looked forward to our family vacation to Florida and going on cruises. She loved and cherished her time with her grandchildren, Kyle and Domenica. She loved to read, listen to music, play games, work crossword puzzles, play on her iPad, and enjoy the beauty of her flowers. Betty was a woman of faith. She made many friends over the years and kept them for a lifetime.
Those remaining to cherish her memory; her children, Barbara (late Kyle) Agoain, Patrick (Pepsi) Kramer, Pamela (Ed) Diekmann, and Connie (Dominic) Florio. Her grandchildren, Kyle II Agoain and Domenica Florio. Sister-in-Laws, Dot Riley and Ruby Kramer; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur “Bud” Riley, Leland Riley, John Riley, Don Riley, and sister, Maudie Albin. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
