Betty Plummer

Betty Gene Plummer (nee Bacott), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late William Howard Plummer, Jr; cherished daughter of the late Ralph Harry Bacott, Sr., and the late Thelma Faye Bacott; devoted mother of Louis "Ed" (Sue) Werner, Jack (Lucinda) Plummer, Betty Ann (Dennis) Kelly, Jean LaRose, Janet Vallero and Lynne (Harold) Ritchie; loving grandmother of 14; treasured great-grandmother of 15, great-great grandmother of 3; dear sister of Peggy Britton; Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.



Betty is also preceded in death by daughter, Robin Eggert and 3 brothers, Carl Bacott, Ralph Bacott, Jr., and Ted Bacott.



Betty was unforgettable, she had a heart of gold, but was also feisty. She was so proud of her children; they were her world. Betty was the “Wrestling Grandma” and supported her children and grandchildren in all of their sporting events. She loved plants and gardening, cooking and baking, and going for long car rides. Her friends and family always looked forward to her Christmas cookies every year. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
