Betty Rae Leslie (nee Gooch) of Troy, MO, passed Friday, March 30, 2018, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Harry F. Leslie; cherished daughter of the late Leon A. and Thora M. Gooch; devoted mother of Don Leslie, Jean (Ray) Newcomb, Cheryl (Dean) Henningfeld, Annette (the late Kevin) McMenamy, and Ruben (Tracy) Leslie; loving grandmother of 12; treasured great-grandmother of 23; dear great-great-grandmother of 7; sister of William "Bill" (Nancy) Gooch and the late Wayne Gooch; and beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, cousin, and friend to many.
Betty loved caring for her family and home. She enjoyed chasing around dust bunnies, sewing or embroidering masterpieces, and reading Fern Michaels novels. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association in Betty’s honor.
