Betty V. Potts

Betty V. Potts (nee Litz), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the age of 80. Loving wife of Donald Francis Potts; beloved daughter of the late William Lee and Irene Louise Litz; devoted mother of Mike (Laura) Potts and Mark (Tawnya) Potts; proud grandmother of Brian (Jen) Potts, Christopher (fiancé Julie Myers) Potts, Justin Potts, and Charley Potts; and dear sister of Allen (Helen) Litz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Ellis, and her siblings, Billie Litz, Ethyl Mines, and Buelah England.

Betty dedicated over 20 years of work in the telecommunications industry and over 20 years as a cafeteria worker. She enjoyed crafting and making jewelry for friends and family, and for donation. Betty enjoyed family vacations to Florida, and holiday gatherings with family, especially during Christmas, her favorite time of the year.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to a charity of the donor’s choice.
