He was the dear husband of Dorrace Boyd for 56 years, loving father to Katharine Jennings, Valparaiso, IN, Susan Dillard, Aiken, SC and Laura Alagna, St. Charles, MO, and dearest brother of Jean Liddell, Norman, OK. Bill was grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 2, a devoted father-in-law, uncle and friend, He was preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Martha Boyd. Bill was born in Shawnee, OK in 1924. He attended Oklahoma University before entering the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He later graduated with an Associate Degree from Oklahoma State University School of Technical Training. Bill served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the American Legion. He was a former President of the Oklahoma Bakers Association and retired in 1991 as President of the James Skinner company in Omaha, NE. Visitation will be at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles, MO. Monday February 3, 2003 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM February 4, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
