Bill Watkins

Bill Watkins of Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 87 on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamer and Fay Watkins.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Shirley Watkins; his children, Robert Watkins, Faye (George) Gilbert, William Watkins, and Sherry Watkins-Tampow; his sister, Gloria (Wayne) Yount; his grandchildren, Brittany (Tyler) Wright, Ashley Watkins, Michael (Julie) Doyle, Richard (Michelle) Doyle, Tyler Tampow, and Tanner Tampow; and his eight great-grandchildren.

Bill served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He then went on to work at the Teamsters Local 600. Bill will always be remembered by his family as a passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan and as a man who loved his wife Shirley very dearly.

Bill will be interred at Jefferson Barracks.
