Billie Joe Hubbard

Billie Joe (Bill) Hubbard, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the age of 86.  Loving husband of 67 years to Lois Hubbard; devoted father of Sheri (Ed) Droege, the late Geary (Vicky) Hubbard, Marcie (John) Coppersmith, and Michael (Barb) Hubbard; cherished grandfather of Aimee Droege, Kyle Droege, Christopher (Katie) Hubbard, Patricia (Jeremy) Stroup, Nicki (Chris) Roe, Ian (Jessica) Coppersmith, Chelsey Coppersmith, Michael (Melissa) Hubbard, Jr., Matthew Hubbard, Patrick Hubbard; great-grandfather of Jordan Droege, Shane Hubbard, Brooklyn Hubbard, Autumn Stroup, Ronan Hubbard, Liam Hubbard, Nolan Hubbard, and Elliana Coppersmith.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William Jerome (Roe) Hubbard and Maxine Hubbard, siblings Roe Jean Hubbard and Camille Goode, and his son Geary Roe Hubbard.

Bill was an ordained Baptist Minister. He owned and operated D+H Tire. Bill enjoyed taking trips with his wife to Florida. He loved basketball and was very competitive in everything he did. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bill’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
