Billy Bell

December 13, 1937 — February 6, 2021

Billy Richard Bell, of Ballwin, MO, previously of Eolia, MO, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Joyce Waltman Bell; cherished son of the late Paul and Geneva Bell; devoted father of Kevin Wayne Bell, David Alan Bell, and Jean Marie (Todd) Schmidt; loving grandfather of Michael (Brittany) Malin, Jr., Rebecca Bell, Leah Bell, Amber Schmidt, and Abigale Schmidt; treasured great-grandfather of Leland, Colby and Hadley; dear brother of the late Pauletta J. Bilkey; Billy was a dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.

Bill proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid rider of his trike and was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter O, where he met his wife Joyce and made many life-long friends. Bill was a Master Mason for many years and he looked forward to the activities of the lodge, he was proud of his membership. He also worked for the Frisco Railroad as a freight conductor and brakeman until his retirement and was proud of his job there. He was a man of faith and it showed through the way he lived. He had a sense of humor that would brighten the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for being a person whose presence could make you happier. All those who met him truly came to love him. Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
