Billy Bill L. Mabrey

'Bill' Mabrey, O'Fallon, MO, died August 1, 2003 at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born June 7, 1936 to Clarence and the late Velma Mabrey in Bollinger County, MO. He is survived by his loving wife, Alyce F. Mabrey, dear sons Chris A. (Susan) Mabrey, Darren S. (April) Mabrey and grandsons Caleb and Joshua Mabrey. Mr. Mabrey worked in Thebes, IL for one year as a teacher. He then moved to Cape Girardeau, MO and taught for 6 years at Elma Schrader Elementary School. He spent the remaining 28 years of his career at Fort Zumwalt School District in O'Fallon MO, first as an assistant principal for Fort Zumwalt Junior and Senior. High Schools and then he served as the principal of Lewis and Clark Elementary in St. Peters MO. After retiring in 1993 from Fort Zumwalt School District, he was an instructor at St. Charles Community College for 9 years. Mr. Mabrey was a member of First Baptist Church O'Fallon.
