Billy Penrod, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Donna J. Penrod; cherished son of the late Clifford Penrod and the late Mary Bradley; devoted father of William “Scott” (Deborah) Penrod; loving grandfather of Heather, Kayla and Rachael Penrod; dear brother of Coy Penrod, Edward Penrod, Jerry Penrod, Clifford Hugh Penrod, Jr., and Ruby “Sis” Wallace; Billy is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other family members, and many many dear friends.
Billy was a member of International Association of Machinists Local 837A, McDonnell Douglas Motorcycle Club, McDonnell Douglas Archery Club, McDonnell Douglas Mac Bassers Club and St. Charles County Hawg Hunters. He worked at Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) for over 30 years. Billy was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and go on 4-wheel drive truck mud runs. He was a very welcoming man who never knew a stranger and would do anything for anyone. Billy loved to spend time with his family, he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Billy's name to St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, Evelyn's House (BJC Hospice) or Guide Dogs for the Blind.
