Billy Ray Ellis, age 59, of St. Peters, Missouri, died peacefully Friday, April 23, 2010, at his home in St. Peters. Son of Barbara Ann Ellis and of the late Robert Mack Ellis, Billy was born on November 6, 1950, in Tucson, Arizona. Billy enter into service of his country on Friday, January 30, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri as a member of the U.S. Army during Vietnam, he earned the rank of E4. He was discharged Wednesday, December 8, 1971 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He received his Bachelor's Degree after serving his country and was currently an Electrical Engineer with Ambitech Engineering in St. Louis. Billy is survived by his mother, Barbara Ann Ellis, one daughter, Brandy Ann Greer, his four grandchildren, Preston, Hope, Will, and Angelina, his dear sister, Brenda (Randy) Cali, and his cherished nephews, Joshua and Jacob. A Funeral Service will be celebrated by Deacon Pat Rankin on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 12:00 PM at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center.
