Dobbins, Bob "Socko", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the age of 74. Devoted husband of Pam Dobbins; dear son of the late Paul and the late Elizabeth Dobbins; loving father of Tracey Biggs, Sandra (Gary) Blanton, Kelley Dobbins and step-father of Mary Anne Elliott; cherished grandfather of Jesse, Natalie, Emily, Rocky, Celia, David, John, Will, Mariah, and Sarah; dear brother of the late Leo Blades; cherished brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend to all who knew him, and special friend to Dennis and Tracy Sherman and their son, Kyle. He retired after 38 years as a Superintendant for Ford Motor Company in St. Louis, MO. Bob was a member of the Shriners, Moolah Clowns and the Eagles Lodge in Alton Illinios. He was a Shriner Clown for 25 years. Bob Dobbins and Harvey Coffee were the original founding partners of the Gateway Downs Mouse Races. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
