Bob Myers

Robert Ray Myers, age 81 ended his life journey at his home in St. Charles, MO on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Robert was born January 3, 1934 in Purdin, MO, the son of Austin Lee Myers, and Gladys Merle (Highfill) Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Billy Myers. He is survived by his wife Wanda and 8 children; Robert Myers of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael Myers of St. Louis, MO, Daniel (Gerry) Myers of O’Fallon, MO, Lisa Muehlberger of St. Charles, MO, Shelia (Dean) Purdy of St. Charles, MO, Richard (Jean) Calvert of Waterloo, IL, Richard (Barb) Myers of Bridgeton, MO, Christopher (Rocio) Myers of St. Peters, MO; cherished grandfather of 12; treasured great-grandfather of 3. Robert was an Air Traffic Controller for 45 years. He was a Vietnam veteran (1968-1969). He retired from the Air Force in1974 and the FAA in 1994. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite of Salina, KS. He was a member of the 1951 class of Milan High School and a 1974 Park University Graduate. He was cremated and his remains buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
