Bobbie D Steers

Steers, Bobbie D., of O’Fallon, MO, died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Shirley Steers; cherished son of the late George and Ruby Steers; devoted father of Gerry (Daryl) Beer, Donna (Mark) Garamella, and Bobbie Steers, Jr.; loving grandfather of Jeff Garamella, Katrina Schreiber, Christopher Steers, Sarah Steers, and Michael Steers; treasured great-grandfather of Alex, Caroline, Amelia, Logan, Jaden, Luke, and Cole. Bobbie is also survived by many nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bobbie was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Stillman.

Bobbie proudly served his country in the Army Reserves for five years. He went on to work as a printer for American Can Company for nearly 40 years before retiring. Bobbie’s truest pride and joy were his beautiful, elaborate, custom-made Christmas displays, which brought smiles and Christmas magic to the masses. He was a history buff, especially regarding Native American culture. Bobbie enjoyed building and fixing things and would only purchase items if they were made in the USA. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
