Bobby Hart

Bobby Lee Hart of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Janis Courtney Erndle Hart and the late Joan Hart; beloved son of the late William R. and Nellie M. Hart (nee Blair); devoted father of Robbie Hart Pierson, Rhonda Hart McIntyre Johnson, Jill (the late Steve) Hart Hudson and the late Terri Terhune; treasured grandfather of Trey and Alex Pierson, Meghan Haskins, Steven Hudson, Jr., Brittany Hudson, Melissa Nichols, Sarah Foust, and Jennah Terhune; cherished great-grandfather of 15 great-grandchildren.  

Bobby was a proud member of Cub Scout and Boy Scout in the years of 1946 and 1947. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 through 1958. He worked at JC Penney for one year and worked a few months at ACF Industries, as well as Leonard’s Metals before going into the Air Force. After leaving the Military, Bobby worked for McDonnell Douglas for 32 years until his retirement. Bobby didn’t stay retired for long as he began another career in Real Estate for 5 years before he retired again so he could spend more time playing golf.  

Bobby enjoyed music especially hymns, country and gospel. His love of music didn’t stop at listening, he was also a part of the choir from 1970-2018. Bobby was a man of strong faith and had taught bible study since 1965. He has been a Deacon since 1972, during which he served as Secretary several times and Chairman in 1988.  He loved Jesus with all his heart.  

Bobby loved to travel to various countries, many states and took four trips to the Holy Land. During retirement he loved to golf and play with his grandchildren. Bobby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bobby's name to Hoina, the Home for Orphan Children located in India.
