Bonnie Louise Briegel

Bonnie Louise Briegel (nee Hemmer), of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late Donald “Harry” Briegel; daughter of Avery F. and Viola B. (nee Hutton) Hemmer; devoted mother of Larry (Brenda) Sportsman; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Justin) Rains; treasured great-grandmother of Taylor, Colby, Logan, and Caden; dear sister of Virginia (the late Chris) Burkemper and the late Kenneth G. Hemmer; and aunt of Darrell Burkemper, Bill Burkemper, Charlene Gifford, David Burkemper, and the late Randy Burkemper; sister-in-law of Dave (Mary) Briegel; and many special friends in her life, the late Rudie and Betty Wucher and their children, Vicky Menne, Cathy Boschert, Bruce Wucher, Jan Fravell, and Mary Hubbard, the late Bill Kuhl.

Bonnie was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish. She was also a member of American Legion Post 312. Bonnie considered herself the world’s biggest St. Louis Cardinals Fan, and could be found cheering them on from home or stadium on any given day. She also enjoyed camping and fly fishing, a love that she passed on to her son. Bonnie touched the lives of many. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
