Bonnie Jean Shipley

Bonnie Jean Shipley, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Sherwin "Bruce" Shipley; beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Glenda Ackley; devoted mother of Steven Shipley, David (Patti) Shipley, and the late Teresa Schultz; loving grandmother of Laura (Jon) Neumann, Brian (Ann) Shipley, Liberty Shipley, Jeffrey (Rachel) Schultz, Joel Schultz, Landon Shipley, and Taryn (Phillip) Cardona; treasured great-grandmother of August, Isaac, Iris, Opal, June, Legend, Justice, Chloe, Savannah, Jaxon, Elliott, and Brooks. 

Bonnie was an active member of O'Fallon Christian Church as well the Kiwanis Club. She worked as a librarian with the St. Charles City/County Library and, in her younger years, served as a telephone operator in Malden, MO. Deeply loved by many, Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
