Bonnie V. Henry (nee Moore) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away at the age of 95 on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Loving wife of the late John Edward Henry; beloved daughter of the late Fayne and Fern Moore; devoted mother of Mildred Disko, Kathy (Fred) Marquart, Chris (Denise) Henry, the late Michael Shawn Henry, and the late John David Henry; cherished grandmother of Jonathan (Jen), Thomas, Kim, Jenny, Kristin (Brian), Erin (Tel), Katy, Ryan (Heidi), Dustin (Sarah), David, Josh, and Sarah; treasured great grandmother of Eleanor, Emmett, Riley, Elly, Violet, Josephine, Lucy, Audrey, Emily, Mattie, Cooper, Damon, Alexis, Kayleigh, Kilee, and Mabel; and mother-in-law of Barb Henry. She was also preceded in death by her dear sister, Merna Jean (Gene) Strathman.
Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a great baker and looked forward to making her delicious Christmas cookies every year. She loved to travel with her husband in their camper, and going to visit her sister in Wisconsin. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing out in the boat.
Bonnie liked to pass the time knitting and doing cross-stitch, and she created many masterpieces over the years. She also enjoyed reading, and could be found curled up with a good book on many nights. Above everything, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Bonnie was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
