Brendan Lance was born on June 8th, 2003, in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Fort Zumwalt North High School in 2021 Summa Cum Laude, a goal he set for himself and accomplished. He attended Missouri State University where he studied Computer Science and made the Dean’s List all 3 years of attending. Brendan had a love for family, the outdoors, cars, technology, online gaming, hanging out with his best friends, and weightlifting. Brendan was a man of few words with a quiet demeanor, bright smile, and a distinct chuckle for his laugh. He had a sly, witty sense of humor with hilarious one-liners. He was creative and loved to tinker, earning him the nickname “MacGyver”. He occasionally picked up new random hobbies such as gardening, coyote hunting, riding the RipStick, and pickleball. Brendan cared deeply and passionately about his best friends, family and his cat named ‘Kitty’ who he rescued in the court of his street where he grew up. He never missed the chance to say ‘Love you, Mom. Love you, Dad.’ or receive a daily ‘Love you buddy’ from Mom and Dad. Though at times shy, he had a steady, reassuring presence. He was loved by so many, and with them his memory lives on.
Memorials may be made in Brendan's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
