Brian Norman Henrikson

Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church Kids Against Hunger. Brian Norman Henrikson, son of Floyd and Joyce (Beardsley) Henrikson, was born on December 16, 1948 in Merrill, WI. His elementary years were spent in Urbandale, IA. The family moved to Golden Valley, MN, and he graduated from Cooper High School in 1967. Brian attended North Dakota State University for one year, but graduated from Minnesota State University in Moorhead in 1971. He was united in marriage to Donna Baker on June 11, 1971 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church near Vergas, MN. After several career changes, Brian operated a prescription billing service for several years before becoming a financial advisor for the state of Missouri employees. He retired about four years ago to pursue his interests of researching alternative energy sources and a food packaging program for House of Hope in Haiti. He is survived by his wife, Donna, St. Peters; two sons, Jeff (Susan) of Falls Church, VA; Mark (Tracy) of O'Fallon, MO; five grandchildren: Ryan, Kaitlyn and Julia of Falls Church; Elena and Kristian of O'Fallon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis and Joel.
