Gardner, Burke K. It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, son-in-law and friend on September 19, 2007. Burke was a wonderful, sentimental person, whose spunky sense of humor and enthusiastic story telling will be greatly missed by family and friends. Making people laugh brought him great pleasure. Unbeknownst to but a few, he helped many people in a multitude of charitable ways. And he always strove to protect those he loved. In his own words, ''Don't cry too many tears once I'm gone, I want you to remember the good stuff, smile and keep on livin'.'' That is one way we can honor him.Services:Visitation at BAUE in St. Charles, 620 Jefferson St., 5-9 p.m. Fri., Sept. 21.
